From 16 to 30 July 2025, under the framework of the ACCESS Project, the Sara Bangla Krishak Society successfully organized the “Women Leadership Development Training for Building Sustainable Producer Organizations.”

A total of 300 women participants from 60 Producer Cooperative Societies took part in the training. To ensure effective participation and better learning, they were divided into 10 batches. The training focused on enhancing women’s leadership qualities, strengthening organizational management, promoting sustainable agricultural production, and empowering women as entrepreneurs.

Throughout the sessions, distinguished officials from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and representatives from different government departments attended and shared their inspiring, motivational, and service-oriented speeches. Their active presence and encouragement greatly energized the participants and enriched the overall learning experience.

The training not only provided knowledge on leadership and organizational development but also created a platform for the women participants to share their own experiences and learn from one another. This initiative is expected to strengthen the role of women in decision-making, boost their self-confidence, and contribute significantly to the establishment of sustainable producer organizations in the future.
